Lake Wanaka’s vibrant lakefront, cafes, shops and restaurants are only 2 minutes away by car (or an easy 20 minute walk) from Wanaka Cottage.
Treble Cone and Cardrona ski resorts are only 30-40 minute drive away.
Spectacular Milford Sound is 50 minutes away by scenic flight and Queenstown airport a 45-minute drive.

Directions
Travelling from West Coast (SH6) or Christchurch:
Take SH84 towards Wanaka. Once in Wanaka, drive along the lake front and turn left into MacDougall Street. Orchard Road is approximately 2.5 km on the left hand side.
Turn left onto Orchard Road and the property is the second turning (50m) on the left-hand side. Wanaka Cottage is to the right of the main house.
From Queenstown:
Take the SH89 over the Crown Range towards Wanaka. Orchard Road is 2.5 km before the Wanaka Lakefront, on the right-hand side.
Turn right onto Orchard Road and the property is the second turning (50m) on the left-hand side. Wanaka Cottage is to the right of the main house.
Tip: Look for the ‘Florences Cafe’ sign at the junction of SH89 and Orchard Road!
